Chris and Mea hosted a beautiful Sunol Casa Bella Wedding located in the hills of California. Coming in from Las Vegas, they wanted to host one heck of a party. I guess also get married while doing so., ha! When everyone is on the dance floor, you know it was a good day. Today’s blog is all about these two and their unforgettable wedding!
Monterey Wedding Photographer
Hey, there! My name is Dana and I am a Monterey wedding photographer here to serve all couples wanting to get married and have a personable experience with their photographer. I have been full-time since 2018 and have served couples all over the United States. Photographing weddings is what brings me such joy and it’s couples like Mea and Chris that remind me what I love doing most. Creating and capturing memories at weddings!
Sunol Casa Bella Wedding
Not too many weddings I photograph have events that are back to back. This whole wedding was jam packed with juicy surprises and memorable gestures. The moment I arrived, the bridal party (all ten of them) were ready to take on the day and make it amazing for Mea. We started with a champagne pop and from there, the day went by so fast!
When it came time to the ceremony, there was a surprise to share. Family members gathered behind the couple at the alter and sang a sweet song to congratulate the couple. All eyes were on them as Mea and Chris took in this moment. Crying, holding hands, and feeling so grateful to be surrounded by their close friends and family.
Time flew by though and soon after the song was sung, Mea and Chris did their first kiss as husband and wife! It was such a precious moment seeing their smiles brighten filled with glee.
Let’s also take a moment to appreciate the wedding party because they were a huge part of this wedding day and were amazing to chat with!
Golden hour had quickly arrived, and we took them away to a few favorite (and a few secret) spots for bride and groom portraits. Mea, of course, looked incredible. Chris was so handsome and could not stop looking at his beautiful WIFE.
Casa Bella Reception
This wedding reception here will go down in history for two things. First, for a couple who started their first dance as a slow dance but then broke out to NSYNC ‘it’s gonna be me’ and nailed the moves! Mea’s two kids even joined in half way and it was so amazing!
And second…. enjoying a reception where nearly everyone was on the dance floor. I am talking young kids to the much older adults that can dance way better than I can. These guests know how to party it up and have the best time!
Mea and Chris… thank you both so much for finding me on google just a few months ago and hiring me to be your wedding photographer for your destination wedding! I loved getting to spend the day with your friends and family and I cannot wait to see where your relationship goes from here. Congratulations and best of luck to you all!
