Maria and Christian had a beautiful Carmel engagement session to celebrate their engagement and the love they both share. A story so beautiful, I am excited to share more about these two and how Paris, France brought them together.

Hey, there! My name is Dana and I am a wedding and engagement photographer. I love serving couples who want to get married and celebrate their love with their friends and family. Whether they are eloping on the beach, or having a wedding at a venue. The couples I get to serve love their friends and family, and want all the candid and beautiful moments captured. They are the same couple who claim they are awkward in front of the camera, but trust me to make them look and feel beautiful.
When I am not photographing engagement sessions and weddings, you will find me traveling the world. Together, my husband and I have been all over Asia and Europe, and are excited for our upcoming travel to Italy this June.
Carmel Engagement Session
Christian and Maria wanted to celebrate their love by having this fun engagement session on the beach. They both have overcome so much, but love has kept these two together. Love that was created out of nowhere when both of these two least expected it.

Maria was living in Paris and the week she landed, she wanted to check out a local church to attend. There, she met local Australian Christian, who was also living in Paris at the time. It was this moment that a strong friendship grew. They saw each other every single day the first year they were friends. When they were traveling, they would email each other back and forth.

Christian had a crush on Maria, but it was not until he moved out of Paris that Maria realized she had a crush on him too. So, the first year as a couple was spent in distance. It was not long though that he knew Maria was his wife. For the proposal, he took her to five different spots that reminded them of their love, first being a crepe place since they met in Paris. It ended at Wilder Ranch where he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him! Of course, she said yes!!
Now here we are! They are getting married at Bargetto Winery later this year. I am so excited to be the one to photograph their big day and cannot wait to celebrate these two!
