Hi, my name is Dana Arnold and I am a wedding photographer based out of Monterey, California. I have been photographing weddings for four years now. My time in Monterey has been amazing so far and I got to photograph weddings at so many beautiful places here in Monterey.
The couples I serve find value in investing well when it comes to their wedding. They want to have a good experience with their vendors, and have a wedding at a beautiful location. Monterey Wedding Venues
I am so excited to share with you some of my favorite wedding venues in Monterey, California. Whether I have photographed there myself, or have toured the venues, these places are wonderful. Each have such caring staff, are great locations, and have wonderful reviews!
The Perry House
Located in a quiet community, The Perry House is perfect for those who want to get married with a guest count of about 100-125. This house can host both your ceremony and reception. In the back, there is a parking lot for guest. In the house its-self, there are room available to get ready, host your cocktail hour, and have your dance floor! Did I mention the food was incredible? You are also just a couple minutes away from a few favorite spots to have your bride and groom photos done! I recently photographed a wedding reception there- you can see more here!
Wedgewood Carmel
Just outside Monterey (only a few minutes drive), is Wedgewood Carmel! This place is a personal favorite. I always love supporting a venue that gives many options. Whether you want a beach ceremony, or one under an oak tree, Wedgewood can do that for you. They have many reception rooms available for all size weddings (up to 250 guest). What I love about this place is that there are so many wonderful photo locations to choose from. Giving you a variety in your wedding album. Plus bonus, plenty of parking. Wedgewood is on Carmel Valley Road and back in, so it’s also quiet. Here is a blog that showcases what a full wedding would look like at Wedgwood Carmel.
The Barns at Cooper Molera
A wedding venue located in the heart of Monterey, and sister to the Perry House, you have your option for an elegant and updated barn type of wedding. The Barns at Cooper Molera! I love this place. For many reasons. I love the feel, the location, and the quality you get in your package. You have an outside patio for your ceremony, and a space inside for dancing and having fun. Just a few blocks away, there are restaurants, bars, and cafes. So, if your wedding is over, you can choose to continue the party and walk on over to your favorite bar.
Monterey Beach House
Another sister to both The Barns and The Perry House, we have a wonderful beach-front venue called the Monterey Beach House. Recently updated, this beach front wedding venue has all you could want for a beach wedding. All on the same lot, you can have your wedding on the beach, take photos right there, and then walk only feet to your reception room. I love that it is right next to The Fisherman’s Warf and has it’s own parking. This will give you options if you want to grab food before our after your wedding. Or, go hang out on the beach with a fire pit.

There is a variety of you to choose from, whether you are thinking more about a barn wedding, a beach wedding, or wanting a place that is quiet and secluded.
