Beach Wedding in California

Sam and Dillon knew they wanted to have a beach wedding in California, and The Monterey Tides was the perfect spot for them. On a perfect afternoon, these two, along with their closest friends and family, gathered at this hotel. Everyone was so excited for the couple to finally say ‘I Do.”

Hey, everyone! My name is Dana Arnold and I am a wedding photographer based out of Monterey, California. Most of my couples say that I am “assertive” and that is because I want to make sure all the magical moments are captured, that nothing is missed, and that we stay on time! My goal as your wedding photographer is to simply make you feel comfortable, get you to laugh, and feel natural in front of the camera. Whether it’s your first time, or the fifth time.

One of my favorite types of weddings are those on the beach. I love being able to capture beautiful oceanfront weddings and then having portraits done after. Even with a busy beach, I can make most moments look intimate and romantic, as if no one is there!

Monterey Tides Wedding

This beach wedding for Sam and Dillon was nothing short of romantic and beautiful. Both the bride and the groom, along with their family and friends, have worked so hard in putting this day together. Sam and her friends decorated and got things ready for the day. Both the groomsman and the bridesmaids were sweet, incredible, and always greeted me with smiles! I could not stop laughing along the guys, and the girls were here to make sure Sam looked incredible for each photo.

It reminds me that in times of chaos, there is light if only we choose to see it.

Sam and Dillon, you two bring so much joy and light into this world. Your small and intimate wedding was done perfectly and getting to see you two say “I Do” was the highlight of the year for many of your friends and family. I am so grateful that you two have decide to hire me as your wedding photographer. Nothing brings me more joy then getting to see two incredible people promise to love each other forever. I wish you both nothing but love and happiness in your journey ahead as husband and wife!
