Hey, everyone! My name is Dana Arnold and I am an engagement and wedding photographer based out of Monterey and love serving couples in the state of California. Before each wedding with my couples, I love capturing some California engagement photos with a complimentary engagement session. Having an engagement session allows us to meet, capture some pretty photos, and see which angles are the favorite. Today, we are talking about Tim and Danielle’s engagement photos in Carmel, California. Ribera Beach is a perfect spot for engagement photos. It’s more secluded, quiet, and has beautiful views of the water. My favorite part is that there are several spots here to photograph your clients.
Meet Danielle and Tim
The moment I met Danielle and Tim via zoom call, I had a feeling we were going to become friends! Both Danielle and Tim are teachers. Both actually work for the same school district, but met on a tinder date. Small world! During a trip to Hawaii, Tim knew he was ready to pop the question. She designed the ring, and at Germaine’s Luau, he found an intimate spot to ask her to be his forever! Even smaller world since our old house in Hawaii was just a few miles away from there! So, I was able to vision the exact spot he asked her! Now, they are here in California planning a fun and intimate backyard wedding next year!
California Engagement Photos
Lately, the weather has been gloomy and foggy here at Ribera Beach in Carmel. This session with Danielle and Tim was still perfect and one of my favorites. Who am I kidding, all my sessions are my favorites. Anyways… I loved this session. For first timers, Danielle and Tim did such an incredible job in front of the camera. Both were always laughing, having a good time, and just being themselves. This is seriously the main reason why photos can turn out so beautiful, by natural laughs!
After a fun 45 minutes capturing pure love and magi, we ended the night with a champagne pop along the rocks. Could not have asked for a better way to end the session Thank you, Danielle and Tim for investing in my business and I cannot wait for their wedding next year!
