Wedgewood Wedding in Carmel California

Hey! Dana Arnold here! For those who do not know me, and are new here, welcome! I am a wedding and military event photographer currently based out of Monterey, California. My goal as a photographer is to serve couples who value photography. The ones who know how important it is too have all the moments from your wedding day photographed to keep and share forever. When I am not photographing my own couples, I love spending time with other photographers and second shooting for them. I got to second shoot for Amanda, a photographer based out of Portland. Together we shot Stephanie and Bobby’s Wedgewood Wedding in Carmel California!

When you are a second photographer, you get the honor to (usually) work with the groomsman and the groom while the main photographer sticks with the ladies. Personally, I love photographing the boys. When I was in high school, most of my friends were guys. You even found me on the sidelines at football games, as a football manager for the varsity team. Connecting with the guys is always easy for me, and I can handle the rough boy personality well. The moment I walked in the groomsmen suite, they were all wound up and ready to party! I loved getting to spend some time with Bobby and learning more about him and his family.

Once the getting ready photos are complete, this lovely couple wanted to do a first look! We did it at wedgewood weddings back garden. In the distance, you can see family and friends gather as they watch Bobby lay eyes on his bride for the first time that day. These moments are so precious to me, because the emotions never hold back!

Come time for the ceremony, there was so much joy and laughter. In a time of crazy, there is nothing like a wedding that really brings out the happiness of the bride, the groom, and the guest.

Reception

Wedding Receptions are where the party continues. Food, dancing, and an epic sparkler entrance to really stand you out! I loved hanging out for a few hours to see everyone come together and party! One thing I will also not forget is how amazing the staff treated the vendors. They set up a table and chair for us to eat at, and our dinner was platted and so delicious! Both of the employees that day were welcoming and loved chatting with us.
