Hey, I’m Dana! A wedding photographer based out of California and here to serve all incredible couples. My style is based on light and airy feels with warmth, romance, and laughter. To keep my creative juices flowing, I love getting inspired by TV and Netflix, and create something based on what I love and feel connected with. That is exactly why I designed and hosted this Bridgerton Series Inspired Styled Wedding.
When Julia Quinn wrote Bridgerton, I don’t think she knew how much she would inspire so many photographers. Her Series is nothing short of incredible and a booked turned series that will lead you with excitement. The moment I saw the series (and then saw it again), I knew I had to create a shoot based on this. My heart was already set on the location in Salinas, California.
With the help of incredible vendors in the area, my vision came to life. A couple who are so incredibly cute where our daphne, modeled by Adrienne, looks just like the real actress herself. Her husband Matthew, is a charmer himself. We also added a second model, Taylor. She nailed playing the part as a simply gorgeous young lady dressed in the most beautiful wedding gown. This, along with a white horse named Jasmine and stationary with bees on wax seals, golden crowns, and an elegant dessert table, made for such a fine shoot.

I am the type of photographer that goes all out when it comes to my work. If I do not give it my all, I form regrets. So, when it came time to this shoot, you know I wrote it all down. I watched the show a third time, formed new ideas, and connected these with the vendors involved. The victorian Mansion River Road Mansion was the perfect place to shoe this shoot. The planner for the venue, Addy, helped me design this lovely day. The vendors involved all made this magical day happen and brought my vision to life. If anything, it showcases why having an incredible vendor team is important for your wedding day!
Thankfully, the weather held up for most of the shoot. At one point, the rain came down pretty good but cleared up when we were ready to get to shooting again. Our timeline was based on details, followed by indoor portraits with Taylor, and outdoor portraits with Adrienne and Matthew. When then had Adrienne change dresses right as Jasmine was arriving at the mansion!
We finished with an hours worth of portraits with Jasmine, changing up the models and locations. Then, a little bit of sweet dessert to end the day. Adrienne sure did smash that cake perfectly into Matthew’s face! It was awesome! And…a bit flirty!
The incredible Vendors
As Lady Whistledown would see these, she would (hopefully) say ” Flawless, my dear”. Styled wedding shoots allow me to be creative and have fun, and thanks to the incredible vendors, it came to life! I, of course, have to give them a shoutout!
