Just months before Sammy and Jeff move to Arizona, they wanted to celebrate their engagement. Sammy had found me on Instagram and reached out about an engagement shoot with Jeff. She told me all about their upcoming move to the desert and how they were excited! It’s where there were memories that were made years ago. The engagement photo session at Palm Beach State Park was held on a sunny yet chilly evening. However, with a champagne pop, their super energetic dog, and some snuggles, all the laughter warmed us right up.

We started by using the trees for some walking candids with their dog, Murphy. He was not having it so soon after we started, he was over it and ready to his the beach.

It’s beach time!

Up the sand dune, we reached the beautiful beach with amazing views. We felt the soft sand, and their lots of places to take some pretty photos! The sun was warm which lead to some beautiful glow for their portraits. I was excited to start them off with some simple photos of facing the camera!

This beautiful Engagement at Palm Beach State Park was full of love and laughter. Throughout the rest of the session, we got to talking about their wedding, which is always fun! I loved getting to meet and serve both Sammy and Jeff. These two are just so incredible and I loved chatting with them both.

I can tell that Jeff loves Sammy because the way he held her hand, walked with her on the sand, and held her close was showing such light. I can see Sammy light up with blush when he would kiss her forehead. Jeff did a great job at the tasks I had him do to really make their love shine. Sammy looked absolutely beautiful in her white floral dress from amazon and I swear Jeff pulls of baby blue well! Sammy and Jeff, thank you for allowing me to be your engagement photographer while you were here in Monterey! I wish you both success in Arizona.
