Being a Monterey, California Photographer, I have come to the conclusion that I am so lucky to get to experience my life as a business owner here in Monterey. Let me explain. It’s because I get to shoot at beautiful locations. My couples and families who reach out to me wanting photographs care so much about moments. They cherish time with their families. Loved ones from afar gather along the beach at sunset and pose for the camera as the sun sets behind them. The kids are laughing (or crying), the fog rolls in as the night nears, and the waves send a smell of salt in the air. Hannah’s family session with her husband and two kids was set on this exact experience.

Hannah and her husband are a local military couple here in Monterey. They have two beautiful girls (one of which was born not too long ago). Their time is valuable because as a military wife myself, I know that they are not always home. So, with her husband being home for school, and the weather being well, Monterey weather, it was important to them to have their first family of four photo session.

When we talked, it was not just about business. Hannah offered us help when I told her we had nothing. The movers are not here yet, so she offered us her pots and pans! Hannah checked in on me during the move process and I will always be grateful for that! She is so kind and her heart is always there to give a hand. I am so excited to share some of my favorites from their family portrait session in Monterey!
