If it is one thing I know about 2020, is that we all could not have gotten through this year without friends, family, and loved ones. We all had a job; support each other. This was a year we needed love and compassion. I know for a fact that I could not have gotten through this year without my husband’s help. A marriage is all about trust, love, and helping each other when things get rough. It is about support and encouragement. When I look at Erin and Zach, I see this. I see them always smiling, having fun, and making fun of each other. That is what real marriage is, right? So, to celebrate their love, for getting through this year, and for their anniversary, they had a Papago Park Anniversary Session!
BFF’S
Zach is my husband’s good friend from High School. They have known each other for years. One thing I love about their bromance is that even when hundreds of thousands of miles apart, they stayed in touch. Always playing video games. Now, us gamer wives (the wife of a hard core gamer), have to stick together. This means learning to play these games! Erin, thankfully, is a sweet friend of mine. We do not talk much, or hang out due to distance, but when we are together, it is a fun time! As if we were friends since grade school. Erin is such a loving wife to Zach, and a caring dog mom to two fur babies.
Leading up to the session
This was not the first time that Zach and Erin got in front of my camera. In fact, on the way from Virginia to Hawaii, we drove through Phoenix, relaxed for a few days, had their session, then continued our way over to Virginia. This time around, we stayed in Phoenix for 4 days, hung out with them most of the time, and really enjoyed their company. Their session was held at Papago Park at Sunset on a beautiful (not hot, thank god…) day.
Erin and Zach, thank you again for investing in my business and for trusting me to take your anniversary session photos! I loved getting to spend that long weekend with you both playing games and enjoying the best foods. Seriously, all the places you took us were incredible and mouth-watering! We hope to see you guys here in Monterey soon!
Check out some of my favorites from the session!
