There was no better way to end my time here in Virginia then by shooting some incredible portrait sessions. I wish I had known about Pleasure House Point Virginia Beach earlier last year when I first arrived. There were a lot of photographers there, and now I know why. The scenery has a little bit of everything. Trees, water, pathway, cacti-looking plants, and some sand. Getting to shoot a mini session there was a dream. To this date, the session is still a favorite of mine!
When I first met Hannah, it was at a wedding I shot this year at a yacht club. She and her boyfriend were guest at the wedding and wanted a few photos of them at sunset. Of course, I snuck some in really quick and was so glad I did. Hannah is so beautiful, and Mitch, her boyfriend, was fun to work with. I love getting to document couples who love to laugh, joke around, and enjoy the moment that is happening. So, when Hannah reached out wanting a session later on this year, I could not say no!
The session day
The day of the session was perfect. The weather was warm and the sun was shinning through the trees. At the end of golden hour, the cotton candy skies came out. So, by the end of the session, we got a little bit of pink and orange in the sky. Needless to say, it made for a great backdrop.
Hannah was flaunting this boho white dress with an adorable design. Mitch was looking handsome in a navy blue button up with khakis! Personally, I love when couples go with my style tips because they truly look amazing in light like this.
Thank you, Hannah and Mitch, for trusting me to be your portrait photographer. I loved getting to see you both again and I hope fate brings us back together in the future!
