Dirty Thirty Birthday Photoshoot

Many girls when they turn 30 tend to get scared. It’s a time where reality sinks in that they are getting older. However, for this gorgeous lady, she took it head on. Sierra is a sweet friend and a bride of mine, who is getting married in 2021. However, before I leave, she wanted to do a dirty thirty birthday photoshoot. I was all for the idea, and got so excited for her. Sierra is so warming and beautiful, so I knew this was going to be great.

On the day of the session, Sierra worked in the morning giving out flu shots. By afternoon, she got some balloons, got ready at her home and met me at Fort Monroe. I picked up some donuts to bring a long, grabbed my blanket and was ready to go!

The session

Sierra showed up in a beautiful boho white maxi dress and a jean jacket. She was smiling ear-to-ear and was so ready to get this shoot going. The weather was sunny and perfect for what we had in mind. We started at the lighthouse and worked our way to the gazebo. I love that Sierra was down for some fun shots. Between twirling her dress, jumping off stairs, and eating some donuts, these moments made for a great shot!

Sierra, I hope you know how beautiful you are! You are always so happy and kind, and I am grateful that you are in my life as a friend, and bride. I am looking forward to getting to see you again when you say “I Do”. 30 is going to be amazing for you, I can feel it! Here are just a few of my favorites from this shoot!
