Wedding at Mound Grove Recreation

“Oh. My. God.” Three words that Brett said when he saw his bride, Ashley, walk down the aisle. Beyond that, he was speechless. You can see the love in his eyes as he watches her walk down with her dad. Looking at Ashley, her smile beams. We were happily reminded that love is always and forever. That love, even during a pandemic, will never end and will overcome all. The wedding at Mound Grove Recreation was held on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in October. The ceremony was well designed and Ashley and Brett were surrounded by their most cherished friends and family.

The Wedding Day

The weekend of, I made sure to come up in plenty of time, check out the scene during the rehearsal, and even introduce myself to some of the guest. We had such an amazing vendor team to help put this together! Having a good group of groomsmen help. The ladies, always being there for Ashley, will make her day easier.

The set-up was all done in the reception hall. Plus, getting to see the house where they were getting ready in person, would make my job easier. On the day of the ceremony, Ashley was as calm as a cucumber. Brett, as always, was enjoying the day by cracking jokes with his dudes and messing around. If he was nervous, you could not tell.

Getting to document their wedding day was truly a blessing. Not only have I known Brett since I was 18, but, Ashley has become a friend. She has always supported my business far beyond the booking stage. Seeing them both grow as a couple throughout the time I have known them, only showed me that these two were meant to be. Things always happen for a reason, and when they met at an NFL Draft party, Brett knew that was going to be his girl forever. They take care of each other, they support each other, and when things get tough, they work it out. I can truly see their love being ever lasting and it warms my heart because both Ashley and Brett, deserve all the love. They deserve each other. Thank you both for having me and for trusting in me to document your wedding day. <3
