Wedding at Fair Winds Farm

Figure skater meets hockey player. This is how the story goes! Spoiler alert, like every other lifetime movie, they fall in love and get married. When Frank laid eyes on this beautiful girl at a country concert, he knew right away he had fallen in love. Who can blame him? Delandra is smart, funny, beautiful, and has such a sweet personality. Frank is the type of man who wants to make everyone and anyone laugh, even if they are having a bad day. He is always down for adventure and loves to have a good time. When you put the two of them together, it just makes sense. So much, that they decided to say “I Do” and have their wedding at Fair Winds Farm in Virginia Beach.

The Wedding Day

Sunny skies, a cool breeze from the water, and the smell of a country side is what made their wedding day amazing. That, and the family and friends that traveled to see these two get married. Thanks to the amazing team that came together, Delandra and Frank had a wonderful wedding day. The reception area was made up of wood tables, pumpkin center pieces, and greenery.

The Ceremony was along the water, and it only took a total of .4 seconds for everyone to cry when they saw the bride walk down the aisle. My favorite part was during the ceremony where delandra’s laugh filled the air with such joy and happiness. It was where Frank could not stop smiling. I am pretty sure his cheeks hurt during the day. Oh, and did I mention that a space shuttle launched from Wallops Island that evening? Yup, and we all got to see it! Check out the last photo to see if you can see the rocket!

Delandra and Frank, thank you for having me and Sarah there to document your wedding day. I absolutely admired the presence of all your friends and family, and felt the emotions all day. You both are two peas in a pod and I cannot wait to continue following along on your love journey!
