Belle Isle Engagement Session

Taylor had reached out to me back in February, you know, when things were normal? She wanted to book me for an engagement session for the upcoming fall months. Her now fiance, Josh, had taken her to Belle Isle for their second date! Her idea was to have a fall engagement session at Belle Isle later in the year, and I could not have been more excited for the idea. Fall here in Virginia is so pretty because as the trees change, the views turn to different colors. This Belle Isle engagement session was right in the beginning of the fall leaf change. Chilly air filled the morning, making the air smell fresh. Fall had definitely arrived.

We ended up timing the session to be in the morning because I had seen from a previous visit that the light going through the trees was glowing! In the morning, I woke at 6:30 to make sure I had plenty of time for my 90 minute drive up north. Getting excited, I turned on some music and went through my head all the fun poses I would be doing for Taylor and Josh. When I arrived, I finally met them for the first time and fell in love with their vibe. Taylor was dressed so cute, and I love her smile! Josh was very upbeat and positive, ready to take on the session. Bonus to him for handling my jokes and for picking on him. They are my kind of couple for sure! Down for adventure, story telling, and just laughing and having a good time!
