A styled wedding shoot is a great way to connect with incredible local vendors in your area! This Historic Post Office Styled Shoot was so much fun and I am so excited to share with you the journey on how this came together!
The Venue
I started to plan this in February and got in contact with a brand new wedding venue west of Richmond. It was a light and airy dream! The week of the styled shoot, I was told the venue was unavailable. I had to quickly find a venue and the first one I reached out to was the Historic Post Office! The HPO are on my top referred list for venues, and I love the vibe it shows and was grateful they had a morning time slot!
The Couple
Next, was the couple. I wanted my best-friend and her boyfriend to be the couple and we had planned it out together for a few months. I reached out to one of my 2020 couples and they agreed! The groom is a naval officer and the bride is a dear friend of mine!
The Dress
The third main issue I had was the dress. We somehow by the grace of god, got an appointment at David’s Bridal and found a gown and shoes that fit the bride perfectly! It was fate to say the least!
Sweets and Treats
We decided to use Starbucks and turn this into a brunch type of styled shoot!
I had to find a new invite and menu for the detail shots and the only way to do that was go to CVS! haha! I had a florist and an incredible HMU artist who stood by my side, and the whole event ended up being amazing!
