It seems like every month so far this year, something crazy has happened with the virus. I do know that I am ready to start working again and gratefully, we are aloud to start shooting! So, I am excited to share with you of what’s coming up in June!
I am a VA!!
A VA is known as a Virtual Assistant. I get to work for someone from home on my computer! So far, this has been a fun ride and it’s only been a few weeks As a virtual assistant, I focus on small tasks like emails! I get to learn the back end of a business and along the way, so far, have been influenced! This is something I will continue to do and hope to stick with it long-term! My goal for 2021 is to be a part-time VA and only shoot 15 weddings (20max).
Photography
Photographers can start to shoot sessions and small weddings this month, and so I am excited to be working again! I really miss shooting and it’s been quite awhile since I picked up my camera! I already have the blog dates picked out for the 5 sessions, a styled shoot, and the weddings I have for the month of June!
Personal
Aside from photography, there are a few personal things going on! Our dog, Karma, has two ACL injuries on her back legs and will be getting surgery this coming Wednesday. We know it’s going to be a long recover, about 4-6 weeks. We miss her energy and we miss taking her on walks. The downstairs guest-room has been turned into our bedroom for the time being, so she doesn’t have to worry about stairs! The bed may be small, but we make sure there is enough room for her to stretch out and stay comfy the best she can until her surgery and she can walk again!
My husband’s and I 5-year wedding anniversary is June 13th, just a few weeks away and I cannot wait to spend the day with him! I got him a sweet and personal gift and I know he is going to love it!
My mother-in-law and sister-in-law are coming to visit end of June, and I cannot wait to have guest here! It will be nice to see my in-laws for a few days and get to explore Virginia Beach! The weather is warming up as well, so it could not be a more perfect time for visitors! It won’t be long until we head out and settle in Monterey, so family time is important!
