Let me happily introduce you to Sydney and Ben, one of my 2020 couples! An instant connection was formed when we got to chat all things about their wedding and what we love to do for fun! Their May wedding will be held at a private plantation in Western Virginia!
May is a great month for a wedding because the flowers and trees are bloomed fully, the temperatures are perfect, and the weather is usually fairly calm. But for now, I am excited to talk about their Fort Monroe Engagement Session!
Meeting for the first time!
The moment I met Sydney and Ben on Saturday, her smile and laugh just made me happy! She is a kind soul and is so easy to talk to and get along with. As for Ben, he was a bit shy at first, but quickly opened up! I can tell that they are so fond of each other! Ben looking at Sydney when they were snuggling in the chilly beach air, was truly an “awh” moment! I am a sucker for when the bride and the groom-to-be have a good time at the engagement session!
I think my favorite moment from the session was using Ben as an assistant to help with a specific shot. The cherry blossom trees were almost in full bloom, so I wanted to get a photo of the ring on a branch. Ben had the honor to be assigned to hold the branch down, knowing if he let go, the ring would be flying! I can literally hear him take deep breaths, so clearly he was a bit nervous! Haha! Do not worry though, he nailed it and we got a really pretty photo you can see in the gallery below!
Sydney and Ben, I cannot wait to see you both again in just a few short months! Enjoy your blog with some of my favorite sneak peeks!
