This engagement session is near and dear to my heart because the couple are two people whom I care for very much. The groom, Brett, is my old boss from when I was 18-years-old, and it was because he hired me, and this job, where I found my husband. It was a wonderful summer before we all went our separate ways. Now, Brett has grown and found his one true love, Ashley, and from the moment we met for the first time at their wedding venue, I knew right then and there Ashley was one of the sweetest and most bubbly people I have ever met. I loved her, even more, when she said she wanted to start their session by wearing their favorite football jerseys. Um… YES!
Together, they are like two peas in a pod. Throughout the whole session, Ashley was all snuggled up and had such a warm feeling in her smile and Brett could not keep his eyes of his girl… or his hands 😉 Both Ashley and Brett are full of joy and adventure. I loved that they wanted to run through the seagulls, hang out near the lighthouse, and even go along with all the bad (and dirty) jokes. I felt at home when I was with them and flying back from their session the next morning, even though I was jetlagged and tired from the hurricane issues I had the day before, the travel up was worth it. I am truly so glad I get to call Bret and Ashley one of my amazing 2020 couples! October 10th can not come soon enough!
Congratulations, you two, and I cannot wait to see you again! Enjoy my favorites from your session!
