This Fort Monroe | Engagement Photography photo session was a long time coming because after a nasty storm that cut their session short the first time (seriously.. hail, wind bursts, and lightning was crazy), and their reschedule session having to cancel due to more nasty weather….again… the third try for this session was a success and ya’ll… IT. WAS. MAGICAL!
The sunlight was perfect, the colors over the ocean were beautiful, and of course, Courtney and Brandon we’re looking amazing and super excited to finally have this happen! Even though I was able to capture some beautiful images from the storm session (including having a 45 second break from hail to grab a quick rainbow shot), their photos here were just so warm and light, that I am just so in love with these maaybeee just a bit more over the first one. Oh, who am I kidding, I legit love them all.

I could go on and on about this session, but really, let me talk about the couple! Courtney and Brandon were by far some of the sweetest couples I have ever met. They have such wonderful manners, have contagious laughs that brighten up a room, and their smiles just warm my heart. We got to talk about their session, the food, the dress, and that their wedding was going to be one heck of a party, and I cannot wait! It’s a couple like Courtney and Brandon that remind me why I love being a wedding Photographer because they make this “job” so easy and so fun! I really cannot wait for their wedding!
